Just a few days before the period originally scheduled for The Monster Experience 2026, Poker France Belgium wants to remind a decision already communicated to its community: this year's edition will unfortunately not take place.

This festival, which was to take place from October 23 to November 1, 2026 in Wevelgem, represented a major appointment in our calendar. We know how many of you were eagerly awaiting it and we obviously share their disappointment.

A decision linked to the July events

As you know, on the night of July 25 to 26, our Wevelgem room was the scene of a violent assault that profoundly marked our team and caused the interruption of the Poker France Belgium Festival.

These events had significant consequences, both on a human level and on the organization of our activities. They forced us to review our priorities and calmly rethink the continuation of our projects.

In this context, and as we had already announced, we have made the difficult decision to not hold The Monster Experience in 2026. Organizing a festival of this scale requires considerable preparation and conditions that allow us to welcome players, partners and collaborators with the attention they deserve.

So this is not a new announcement, but rather a reminder intended to avoid any confusion as the originally scheduled dates approach.

The room has come back to life, and so has our passion!

Since the reopening of our room at the end of August, Poker France Belgium activities have gradually regained their rhythm. We have enjoyed seeing our players back at the tables, sharing new moments of conviviality and restarting our regular meetings.

This revival was made possible thanks to our team's commitment and the precious support of our community. However, the continuation of our regular activities does not mean that we could, at the same time, organize a festival as large as The Monster Experience.

Our priority remains to rebuild sustainably, without haste, to better prepare the future.

2027: the ambition of an even bigger Monster

The Monster Experience holds a special place in the history of Poker France Belgium. Over the editions, this festival has become much more than a series of tournaments: a moment of reunions, meetings and shared passion among players from different backgrounds.

Our will is clear: bring back this adventure in 2027 with an even bigger and more ambitious edition. We want to take the time to prepare an event worthy of your loyalty and the Monster's history.

The dates, program and modalities of this next edition will be announced later, once the various elements are definitively settled.

Your messages, presence and trust have deeply moved us and encourage us to continue what we have been building together for so many years.
