An evening of poker that gives way to the night

A calmer Wednesday, but an evening that found its rhythm. The Expresso Deepstack 500K du 21 octobre recorded 20 entrées, soit 17 joueurs et 3 réentrées. A small turnout for this mid‑week meeting, with an appreciated advantage upon arrival: the tournament did not drag into the night.

With three players remaining, Dylan Dereuddre, Serge Marinho and Rasool Barikro have chosen to agree on a financial deal. The principle: €250 guaranteed for each and €30 left for the victory. Enough to secure a nice share of the result while keeping a stake to go for first place.

It is Dylan who finally won the tournament and pocketed the 280 € for first place. Serge Marinho finishes second with 250 € and Rasool completes the podium for the same amount. In fourth place, C. A. goes away with 50 €: four spots rewarded for this edition.

Beyond the ranking, this evening serves to remind an idea that guides our meetings: the week structures are designed to finish at a reasonable hour. We know that, the next day, work, classes or family obligations resume their place. The goal is to offer a real poker evening, with time to play, in a format adapted to these constraints.

The number of entries and the flow of the games obviously influence the duration. This Wednesday, the small field contributed to a shorter evening, but this attention to pacing is part of the design of our weekday tournaments. We love beautiful tournament endings; we also appreciate getting back to our pillow before the alarm demands a heads-up.

Congrats to Dylan, the other two podium members and all the players in the money! Thanks to the participants for sharing this Wednesday with us. The continuation starts this Thursday, with the Jeu’Deep and its Mini, before a busy weekend and the return of the Mystery Bounty Jackpot on Sunday.

A poker night that leaves room for sleep

A quieter Wednesday, but still an evening with a pleasant pace. The Expresso Deepstack 500K of October 21 counted 20 entries: 17 unique players and 3 re-entries. A modest turnout for this midweek event, with a nice advantage: the tournament did not run into the deep night.

With three players left, they chose Dylan Dereuddre, Serge Marinho and Rasool Barikro for a financial deal. Everyone insured themselves for € 250, while € 30 for the winner remained aside. Thus a nice result was set for each of them and there was also something extra to win for first place.

In the end Dylan won the tournament and took € 280. Serge Marinho came second for € 250 and Rasool completed the podium with the same amount. C. A. finished fourth and received € 50. This edition therefore provided four paid places.

Besides the result, this evening recalls a principle of our weekday tournaments: the structures are designed to finish at a reasonable hour. We know that the next day work, classes or family obligations are waiting again. We want to provide a full-fledged poker night, with time to play, in a format that fits.

The number of entries and the progression at the table obviously affect the duration. Wednesday the smaller field of participants helped keep the evening shorter, but attention to the pace is also part of the design of our weekly tournaments. We love a beautiful tournament final, and seeing our main pillow back before the alarm challenges us for a heads‑up.

Congratulations to Dylan, the other stage players and everyone who ended up with the money! Thanks to all participants for this Wednesday evening. Tonight the Jeu’Deep and the Mini are on the schedule, followed by a well‑filled weekend and the Mystery Bounty Jackpot on Sunday.
