Specific conditions may be displayed on the product or event sheet. In case of contradiction, the specific conditions accepted at the time of order prevail for the concerned item, subject to mandatory law.
3. Products, services and prices
Essential characteristics are presented before ordering. Prices are shown in euros, VAT included where applicable. Delivery charges or other additional fees are indicated before final order confirmation.
In the event of a manifest error in price or description, the seller may cancel the order before execution and will then refund any amounts already received.
4. Order and contract formation
Before confirming an order, the customer must be able to review its contents and correct any errors. The order becomes final after order validation and, when payment is required, after payment confirmation.
A confirmation is sent on a durable medium when required by regulation.
5. Payment
The payment methods available are those displayed during the ordering process. Only the methods actually offered at the payment stage are binding for the relevant order.
For physical goods, ownership remains with the seller until full payment of the price, without prejudice to the transfer of risk in accordance with the law.
6. Delivery of products
Delivery modalities, zones, fees and time‑frames are indicated before ordering. In case of a significant delay, the consumer benefits from the rights provided by the Economic Law Code.
The customer must report any manifestly damaged parcel or any non‑conformity observed within a reasonable period.
7. Right of withdrawal
7.1 Goods purchased at a distance
Unless a legal exception applies, the consumer has a period of 14 calendar days to withdraw from a distance purchase without having to justify the decision. Practical procedures and any applicable return fees are communicated before ordering.
7.2 Tournaments and events on a set date
The legal right of withdrawal may not apply to services linked to leisure activities when they must be provided on a specific date or during a set period. The contractual cancellation policy of Poker France Belgique set out in article 10 nevertheless applies when it is more favourable.
8. Legal guarantee
Goods sold to consumers benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity. For new goods, this guarantee generally covers conformity defects that appear within two years of delivery, without prejudice to other rights provided by law.
9. Reservation and entry to a tournament
- Entry is personal and nominative. Entry for a third party is only permitted when the event explicitly allows it.
- Unless a specific rule states otherwise, online entry closes 10 minutes before the announced start of the tournament.
- By entering, the player accepts the game rules, the applicable internal regulations and the event’s specific conditions.
- The times, structures, available seats and payment methods displayed on the event sheet form part of the reservation conditions.
10. Cancellation and absence from a tournament
Unless stated otherwise on the tournament sheet, a cancellation without charge is accepted up to 24 hours before the start of the tournament.
- In case of an unreported absence, Poker France Belgique may temporarily suspend the ability to reserve in advance until the situation is regularised.
- After several absences or unreported cancellations, advance reservation may be restricted and only possible within the limit of available seats.
- Any administrative fee or financial penalty may only be applied if it has been clearly announced before the booking and if it complies with the applicable law.
11. Loyalty programme and points
Points constitute an internal promotional benefit. They are neither electronic money, nor a deposit, nor a right to cash reimbursement.
- As a guide, 1 point may correspond to a reference value of around €0.01 in the rewards catalogue, without constituting a claimable monetary value.
- Points can be exchanged for the available rewards, subject to stock and conditions displayed.
- The points cap is set at 20 000 points. Beyond that, accumulation may be suspended until a redemption.
- The rules for loss of points in case of absence from a tournament must be announced clearly before registration and may be adapted when the programme evolves.
- Any expiry or reset must be based on an objective rule, communicated in advance, and not on an arbitrary deletion.
12. Tournaments GTD
“GTD” means that the organiser announces a guaranteed prize pool according to the conditions displayed for the event.
- Unless otherwise indicated, the GTD announced by Poker France Belgique assumes a minimum of 10 players entered and physically present at the start of the tournament.
- In the event of an overlay, the difference between the guaranteed prize pool announced and the amount actually generated by entries is covered by Poker France Belgique.
- This compensation may be provided, at the discretion of Poker France Belgique and without any further prior announcement, in cash, tickets, vouchers, credits, in‑kind benefits or any combination of these elements.
13. Modification, postponement or cancellation of an event
An event may be modified, postponed or cancelled in case of force majeure, administrative decision, security issue, venue unavailability or any circumstance making its organisation impossible or unreasonable.
When the client has paid for a service that ultimately cannot be provided, the financial consequences are dealt with in accordance with the applicable law and the specific conditions of the event.
